Cast in c.1720 in Enkhuizen, Netherlands by bellfounder Jan Crans for the Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie (Dutch East India Company) - Chamber of Amsterdam

Bearing the Enkhuizen proof mark (crowned shield with three herrings), VOC shield and 16 lood weight marking on the muzzle

A cannon from the same casting exists as part of the ‘Visser Collection’, on display at the Rijksmuseum (Dutch National Museum) in Amsterdam.
