The number ‘2’ is stamped on both the upper and lower neck rings

12-bolt, 3-light helmet with convex front and side windows

Believed to be a helmet from the original series constructed by Augustus Siebe during the early eighteen-forties, making this helmet over 180 years old.

The third oldest known closed diving helmet in the world - oldest in a private collection.

We sourced this beautiful ‘Yokohama Sensuigi’ diving helmet from the Fukushima Prefecture on Honshu, Japan. 

This helmet was made in the Tokyo Bay city of Yokohama for use domestical
